Five years after fighting in the Alamodome, Regis Prograis Returns to San Antonio for the 5th Stop on His Book Tour

San Antonio isn’t just another stop on Regis Prograis’s book tour - it’s the city where the seed of his novel, Stories & Lessons From Regis Prograis, was first planted. In 2020, after delivering a highlight reel knockout at the Alamodome, Prograis spent the following hours reflecting on everything he overcame. It was here, in San Antonio, that he decided to collaborate with author and publisher Ross Williams to write a biography.  

The storybook moment that commemorated the birth of his novel happened the following day, when his wife, Raquel Prograis, gave birth to their youngest child. What began as a victorious fight weekend transformed into one of the most meaningful moments of his life: the birth of his third child. For Prograis, San Antonio will forever symbolize legacy, new beginnings, and the turning point that pushed him into authorship.

That decision set into motion a powerful collaboration between Prograis and Williams, whose captivating storytelling and creative direction helped transform Prograis’s reflections into a compelling novel that’s available in more than 85 countries. Together, they crafted a biography that blends cinematic fight memories, meaningful lessons, and the mindset that carried Regis from post-Katrina displacement to championship glory.

On the fifth stop of his interactive book tour, Prograis returns to the Alamo City five years after his fight in the Alamodome. This is more than a book signing — it’s a full-circle moment and celebration.
